Thank You
(For sucking)
How do you kick your big-name competitors to the curb? You thank
them for the things they do worst… publicly.
Most tech brands spend their entire budget trying to be the smartest in the room. We figured it would be more effective to just be the most polite.
JumpCloud is a modern directory that makes legacy systems look like actual fossils. But instead of shouting about specs like every other ‘disruptor’ in the valley, we decided to kill the competition with kindness. Literally.
Massive, floral greeting cards were parked directly in front of the Microsoft, Azure, and Google offices—strategically positioned to face the windows and line the highways used by their CEOs. And, more importantly, their clients.
We thanked them for their clunky UX and their “walled gardens” because honestly, those flaws were the only reason people are switching to JumpCloud.
It’s not a roast if it’s on a nice card. That’s just good manners.
